Law School Tutoring

Lee Faller Burgess has helped numerous students turn around their law school grades and find the success they were looking for.  Help is available for students concerned about their academic status or just wanting to raise those B’s to A’s.

Lee understands that law school exams are a frightening proposition.  There is a ton of misinformation on how to outline, how to study, and how to write the best exam possible.  Let Lee help guide you through the semester to make sure you are ready for your law school exams.  A mixture of one-on-one meetings and writing feedback will help you change your law school experience.  Or perhaps exams are getting closer and you would like some feedback on your practice exams.  Lee can help you with this as well.

Tutoring sessions are typically 60 minutes in length. Please contact Amicus Tutoring for pricing information.

Law School Tutoring FAQ

I know you work at USF Law. Do you tutor students from other law schools?

Yes, Amicus Tutoring works with students from all over the state. Although law schools vary at times with their class requirements, generally good writing techniques and study habits are necessary no matter which law school you are attending. Amicus Tutoring can also help you with generating the best outlines for your classes, asking the right questions of professors, and writing quality practice exams to make sure you understand how best to prepare for your exams.

But I am passing my first-year exams. Why would tutoring be important for me?

The skills you are learning in law school now are the same skills necessary for students to pass the bar exam. Good exam writing and study skills are very important. I often hear from bar students that they wish they had learned these skills in law school to get better grades and have better study skills going into the bar exam for the first time. Why not get the most out of law school while you are there and try to get the grades that reflect the hard work you are putting into it?

How do you accept payment?

Law school tutoring is on an hourly basis for both one-on-one meetings and essay feedback. Pricing is available by request. Amicus accepts payment by check, Paypal, and major credit cards.

I interested in law school tutoring. Please tell me about your programs.

Super interesting talk at the SF @atlblog event -- who doesn't love talking about con law with a glass of wine. Thx for organizing!
